When recording your hours, we ask that you identify which service component this service experience fall under:

Parish – volunteering for any parish activities such as festival/parish picnic, holiday events (Halloween party, Christmas breakfast, etc.) fish fries, assisting younger Christian formation grades

Community – volunteering for any organization that serves a large number of people such as a food bank, community meals, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, etc.

Liturgical – these components will be more specific: o participating within the Liturgy on Saturday evening/Sunday morning as a Lector, Usher, Greeter, Choir Member or Gift Bearer at least 3 times during the year (especially at youth focused Masses at your home Parish)

- participate in a prayer service outside of the Sunday/Holy Day Liturgy i.e. Holy Hour, Stations of the Cross, Advent/Lent prayer services

- participate in either the youth led Stations of the Cross or assist with the Triduum Liturgies (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil)

We use the gifts God has given us to benefit the lives of others. This service can be associated with family, neighborhood, school, parish or civic communities.  We want youth to experience different ways to be involved in service.  Once you have completed the your service experience, record your service experience using our online registration form.
